I've been maining Duck Hunt in smash 4 for quite some time now and I love the character but he has some hard match ups. Through this I have picked up and learned a ton of different characters trying to find a secondary for my favorite doge.  After a while of this I finally came to the conclusion that there is no one character that cover's all of the pupper's match ups. So where does that leave me now? Well right now I consider myself still a duck hunt main but with the secondary of counter pick and I have to say it's been working wonders. As of writing this I am on the 6 game win streak and ranked Gold 3 on Anther's Ladder and one of Utah's best players. Anyway just thought i'd post an interesting fact on the viability of playing counter pick. Have a nice one yall!
