I've been wanting to get better at Melee for awhile now. The people here are very walled off to new people in the scene it seems like. I play a lot of sm4sh since thats what my close friends like to play. I don't have anything against either game and think both have their own strengths and weaknesses. To me the most important part of Smash is bringing people together and i'm excited that netplay exists to help bring people together. I'm not great at any smash games but I still organize local tournaments because I just love bringing people with the same passion together. I love this community and I'm excited to take a step with trying to become a larger part of that community. I hope that if you ended up reading this far you too feel the way I do about our community.
