Played against:
A player named ION
What I did right:
Almost nothing, but I am trying to get used to the fact that Luigi is best played by just moving around a lot and being everywhere at once.
What I did wrong:
I have a bad habit of always dairing the moment I am in the air. At least if I'm always going to be doing an aerial, I need to do something other than dair, even if it is a good move.
I need to get used to recovery as Luigi. I know that Side special + Up special is not good enough and that I have other moves in my inventory like Down special that I can use to help me out.
Wavedashing is something I need to get better at. If I am going to constantly be threatening space, I need to be 100% on it. When playing against ION, they made a comment that I was obviously new to wavedashing, which is true, but I need to get to a point where it isn't obvious. Where I get it 99% of the time.
What I hope to be better at tomorrow:
I hope to have wavedashing 100% tomorrow. I'm going to spend my practice time today wavedashing and nothing else.
Game 2
Played against:
A player named Yami Hikari
What I did right:
I got better at wavedashing. I made sure to cover the stage as much as possible. This overwhelmed him, and I got some good punishes off of it. Mostly grabs. My Marth is getting better, I've got some good combos down.
What I did wrong:
His Roy destroyed me. I need to find out how to get past that big ass sword of his. It just outreaches mine. His attacks are slower. Maybe go that route. Probably just better timing.
I still missed a lot of wavedashes. I need to get better at that still. Missed some grabs. To be fair, when I watch those tournaments, I see a lot there as well. I think I just need to stop getting flustered about it, because it just makes me make mistakes.
I need to stop just pressing buttons in certain scenarios. I still don't know what scenarios this happens in, but I feel it happen. I need to be a bit more calculated about what I'm doing.

Honestly, don't remember the name already. Sorry, dude.
What I did right:
My Marth is pretty good. I need to get better about not just pressing buttons. Luckily with Marth, doing so isn't too bad. My Luigi had some good grabs and punishes. Figured out how to recover better with him, which is good. I had some times where I was really really thinking about what the enemy was going to do next and trying to read that. Didn't go well, but it's progress in that bit.
What I did wrong:
Pressing buttons. There are still situations where I just press buttons and hope for the best. Wavedashing is still inconsistent. I need to get better with that. My Marth recovery is alright, but I often forget I have a second jump and die in places I didn't really need to. I need to get out of some habits, like the whole "Holding towards the enemy and attacking" strategy is not going to work anymore. I hate that I've played Smash casually for so long because I have so many bad habits just built up that I have to tear down.
What to practice on:
Wavedashing. Getting out of the habit of just holding towards the enemy and attacking. Fundamentals. Bread and butter. The entire first section of that Reddit post of tech. Otherwise, I think I'm making good progress.
