Hey! Thought I'd make an introductory Anther's blog post, and briefly explain my history with Smash while I was at it!
I started playing Smash Bros. a few years after Smash 64 came out. I never owned the game, but had fond memories of playing it at a childhood friend's house. Then I found out in 2010 another game had came out. That game was Brawl, the game that kept me interested in the series. I really wanted to play the game before Brawl, Super Smash Bros. Melee, a lot growing up, and finally got to in 2015. However, I was really hyped for Smash 4's release, and proudly own both versions, which I bought both of which on their respective release dates!
To this day, I love Smash Bros., and all games equally. I miss the days of getting hyped for character reveals, Pic of the Days, and other things relating to the launch of Smash 4, and can't wait for another game to get hyped about. I proudly own all the DLC, including the Mii Fighter costumes, on both versions of the games, and have almost every Smash Bros. line amiibo.
I play Meta Knight and Corrin when I want to win. Meta Knight was my "main" back when I casually played Brawl, and I was surprised to hear he was the best character in that game by a landslide. I picked Corrin because I love playing in the air, and Corrin has quick and powerful aerials that start, continue and end their combo game. I also enjoy playing Robin, Pikachu and Ness. Robin because I love Fire Emblem Awakening, Pikachu because I'm a huge Pokemon fan, and Ness because for a long while, I loved 1FOW1. I loved him before he even played Smash 4, and was one of his earliest fans, showing up to all his streams.
That's it for my introduction, and I hope you learned a lot about my life as a Smasher from it!
