Today's Games (February 8, 2017)

Hey everyone, Providence here.

Today I played friendlies with one person as hand warmers and then I played two ranked matches. The hand warmers were against a Pikachu main, who granted made me think a bit but got me a bit tilted as I was always close to K.O-ing him but then he would get a jab lock off an un-techable spin. So anyway, I went into my first ranked match alright against an Ike at first. The first two games he played Ike, and then Lucario. Against his Ike, I was just making silly mistakes overall and he outplayed me, but it wasn't impossible for me to beat him as I won the second game. But the Lucario-Falco matchup was so foreign to me that it was hard to adjust at all to his tactics, therefore getting him the win. In the end, maybe i should have switched to Lucina, but who knows as Aura is pretty much jank no matter whom you use. In the second ranked match, i played a Marth, and these Marths are becoming more common (probably due to the buffs and MKLeo's tourney results). Anyways, I kinda had a jank SD because my Firebird angle was a tad off, so he won game one. I won game two and my opponent had a bad SD, so it kinda worked out. Then the third game it was last stock, 0% a piece. He won nuetral and comboed me hard, but then I brought it back a bit before he won. He did compliment my Falco though, saying it was clean and that it was the best one he has seen. Overall, yeah I did go 0-2. But I know I could do better and that I can beat people like the two I went against today, and hopefully I can play more tomorrow so I can get a rank and work from there. Peace.
