Mayflash Direct Connect not working (video included) (SOLVED)

I'll start out with the link to my video demonstrating the issue.

1) I (re)install winUSB on the Mayflash Adapter device successfully.

2) I open Dolphin and verify that the adapter has been detected and Direct Connect is selected.

3) I open Melee to test the controller.

4) I move the control stick back and forth on the "continue without saving" thing. Then, I attempt to mash through all the trophy notifications. On the CSS, I mash the control stick left and right- you can see how terrible the controls are. I don't really know how to describe it- three-fourths of the inputs are eaten, and the remaining one-fourth take about 3 seconds to actually happen. I then mash A & B on G&W, which you can hear from my mic I am doing much faster than the game would have you know.

It's a very weird issue, especially considering Direct Connect worked fine a couple months ago. I've been dealing with PC mode instead of direct connect, but it's just not the same. It's confusing because the inputs are clearly being sent and received, but something along the way is seriously messed up.

Note: Controller and adapter work fine in PC mode, as well as when used with a Wii U. Any help with this issue would be very much appreciated!

Solved by changing USB ports

On every set of USB slots, I plugged in my adapter with Wii U mode on, tested on Dolphin, switched to libUSB or winUSB on Zadig (whichever was not currently installed,) tested on Dolphin, changed the driver from Device Manager (WUP-028 on device manager, right click, update driver software, browse computer, pick from list, WUP-028 from libusb.infom) tested on Dolphin, switched back to the winUSB/libUSB, and repeated. On the third set of USB ports, it worked perfectly on plugging it in with libUSB installed. With a bit of hesitation, I installed winUSB from Zadig and it still worked! It works on the newest Dolphin version, as well. I assume that it was changing ports that did it, but I figured I would post my whole process just in case it helps someone else. (Thanks DolphinUser for your help!)
