Controller Setup:

http://www.smashladder.com/blogs/view/258h/how-to-configuring-a-controller

How to Netplay

To Prevent Desyncs

Go to Config > Gamecube and turn off all Memory Cards: http://prntscr.com/7dapga

Go to Config > Wii and uncheck "Insert SD Card": http://prntscr.com/7dapt9

Go to Controllers and turn off all Wiimotes: http://prntscr.com/7daq42

Go to Graphics > Hacks and make sure "Skip EFB Access to CPU" is checked: http://prntscr.com/7eli69

To Start Netplay

Go to Tools > Start Netplay: http://prntscr.com/7d0vyq

Once there, make sure to hit Reset Traversal Server and that it says, stun.dolphin-emu.org:6262 : http://prntscr.com/7itxly

Make sure you change your Username.

To Host:

Select the Host tab and left click on the correct game: http://prntscr.com/7d0x7s

Press Host and you will be directed to the Netplay chat window: http://prntscr.com/7d0xhd

To Connect:

Select the Connect tab, input the given code in the "Host Code" box: http://prntscr.com/7d0ywq

Note For Melee Users (ver 1.02):

Make sure Cheats are enabled Config > Enable Cheats: http://prntscr.com/7d0u4i

Make sure "Global Melee Netplay Settings" Is checked when you Right Click the game > Properties > AR Codes: http://prntscr.com/7d0tbw

Note For Project M Users (ver 3.5):

Project M does not currently show up as 3.5 Netplay Build (will be fixed in 3.6). Make sure you check the Game ID (RSBEC3) before hosting and playing. http://prntscr.com/7d0rn8

(To show Game ID in the games list go to View > Show Column > Select Game ID: http://prntscr.com/7dhg8r )

Note For Brawl Users:

Make sure Cheats are enabled Config > Enable Cheats: http://prntscr.com/7d0u4i

Make sure "Global Brawl Netplay Settings" is checked when you Right Click the game > Properties > Gecko Codes: http://prntscr.com/7d0v2s

If you have played Brawl prior to this build using the "Global Brawl Netplay Settings" code, you will be given a duplicate code in your Gecko code's list: http://prntscr.com/7dh7iz

This will cause the game to crash.

To fix:

Right Click on the Brawl Iso > Properties: http://prntscr.com/7dhasl

Go to Gecko Codes > Edit Config and Delete Everything in the document and save: http://prntscr.com/7dhbw9

You should then be left with one code. Select "Global Brawl Netplay Settings" and close/enjoy: http://prntscr.com/7dhchm

[Very] Common Issues:

Dolphin Crashes Upon Opening:

This could be one of a few things:

1) Conflicting Adapter Drivers/uninstalled adapter drivers (Zadig vs Vjoy). [4 port Wii U GC Adapter/4 port Mayflash on Wii U mode Only]

To see if this is the cause of dolphin crashing, start dolphin with the GC adapter UNPLUGGED. If dolphin still crashes, this is not the issue. If dolphin starts up, close dolphin and plug in your GC adapter.

If you have installed Vjoy on your computer, you have to completely uninstall it at this point: http://prntscr.com/7dxh9m

At this point, you need to install Zadig if you haven't done so. Please follow this guide for details: http://www.smashladder.com/blogs/view/258h/how-to-configuring-a-controller

Once you finish installing Zadig, dolphin should start up correctly WITH the adapter plugged in.

2) Corrupted Download/Dolphin folder

Solution: Redownload Dolphin and remove the current one causing issues. In Libraries > Documents, Rename (if you want to have it as a backup) or Remove/Delete the Dolphin Emulators Folder: http://prntscr.com/7d5e33

3) An undiagnosed problem

Solution: Not one at this time  ;~;!

Why am I getting FPS Drops/Why Am I lagging?! It didn't do this in 652-5886-etc.

1) One quick answer is that you might have Internal resolution set on Auto (Graphics > Enhancements). Try setting it to 1x Internal resolution: http://prntscr.com/7egvpq

2) Set Framelimit (Config > General) to "Auto": http://prntscr.com/7egvpp

3) Try switching between the Direct3D and OpenGL Graphic Backends to see how different the program runs: http://prntscr.com/7ezk1z

4) Try Using the Optimization Thread for more details and information: http://www.smashladder.com/blogs/view/25hq/2015-06-08/4-0-6554-setup-guide
